Ultrasonic liquid processing equipment
Ultrasonic liquid processing equipment sends high-frequency sound waves into a liquid to perform any of a number of tasks. The vacillating waves of high and low pressure created by this equipment make numerous tiny bubbles that collapse violently via a process call cavitation. This can be used for deagglomeration of nanometre-sized materials, cleaning, mixing and cell disintegration.
More specifically, ultrasonic processors can be used for cell lysis, DNA/ RNA shearing, emulsification, homogenization, and nanoparticle dispersion.
